Farmhouse holidays with children

At the Hatzeshof in Laion / Lajen you will experience rural everyday life surrounded by the beautiful landscape of South Tyrol.

The Hatzeshof pays a lot of attention to animal-friendly husbandry; whereby animals, if necessary; are treated in nature-conform ways or with infusions.
We offer our guests great activities which include smaller or bigger tenders for children around the house, in the stable and with the animals. Walking barefoot, perceiving the nature, feeling the earth, experiencing the morning dew, building things with stones, and, seeing a hedgehog or, if you are lucky, a deer – are the things that define the true meaning of being a child. We will tinker, play, sing, explore the nature or hike together on a supervised children’s afternoon. While the children are playing around on the farm or the farmhouse, parents can sunbath on our self-made arolla-pine loungers. We particularly emphasise our natural playground for our smaller guests, which is equipped with a playhouse, wooden toys, a sandbox and a swing.
If the weather is kind, we offer all year round a weekly hiking tour to our own pond “Fischerweiher”, which is located in the midst of a spruce forest and beloved by natives and guests. You can demonstrate your fishing skills and techniques for a small additional charge – and as we would say: “PETRI HEIL!” (good fishing/good haul).
