Feeling the spring awakening at the Hatzeshof

Explore the South Tyrolean landscape while taking walks and going on bike rides, or, visit the numerous sights around Laion / Lajen.

To be awaken by the warm sun in the morning and to enjoy the view of the Dolomites: that is what a morning looks like at Hatzeshof. In spring, the landscapes and nature of Lajen are a true paradise: the first little flowers bloom on the pale green meadows, the cherry trees bear pink blossoms and, in the background, throne the snow-covered Dolomites. This season is perfect for long walks, hikes, and bike tours. You can, for example, hike to the nearby Trostburg (castle) and enjoy the smell of freshly cut hay and the chirping of the birds.

We tried some of these activities with our two children and took a closer look at child friendliness, distance, costs, and so on. Moreover, the tourism association of Lajen organises a weekly varied programme concerning culture and hiking tours, for example also the weekly concert of the traditional marching band of Lajen.
