The sunny location of the Hatzeshof in South Tyrol

The village is situated just above the entrance of Val Gardena and is the perfect starting point for wonderful hikes or skiing days in the Dolomites, a UNESCO world heritage site.

Our historical farmhouse Hatzes is located in Ceves / Tschöfas (part of Laion / Lajen), just above the village of Lajen, and offers a sunny panoramic position and a view to the Val Gardena and the mountain Langkofel. Our farm is situated in a perfect position, from where you can start hikes and adventurous tours in the midst of the natural landscape of the Dolomites. Trips to the cities Chiusa / Klausen (15 min.), Bressanone / Brixen (25 min.), Bolzano / Bozen (30 min.), Merano / Meran (45 min.), or even a trip to Lake Garda (2 hours) are possible and highly recommendable.

Arrival:
Coming from the North, you can reach us using the highway Brennero / Brenner (A22). After the exit “Chiusa-Val Gardena / Klausen-Gröden“, follow the SS242 towards Val Gardena / Gröden. After about 10 minutes, turn left towards Laion / Lajen. Once arrived in Lajen, drive towards “St. Peter” for other two minutes until you can turn left towards Ceves / Tschöfas (steep street). Then, you soon reach our farm Hatzeshof.
