Experience winter magic at the Hatzeshof
Enjoy the tranquillity of the snow-covered landscape on our farm and benefit from the nearby skiing areas Val Gardena - Alpe di Siusi.
The sun also shines in winter at the Hatzeshof. Away from all the hustle and bustle, families can build snowmen and snow caves, they can explore and discover trails of deer while snowshoeing, or they can sledge on our snow-covered meadows. The Hatzeshof is the perfect starting point for long, as well as short, winter hikes in South Tyrol. The nearest bus stop is about 500 metres from the farm.
Hit the slopes…
The modern and famous ski area Val Gardena (Dolomiti Superski) is located in close proximity to our farm (15 minutes). The 1,200-kilometre-long skiing slopes are ideal for amateurs, as well as champions. Especially the Sellaronda, which goes around the Sella massif, will fascinate all of you. The world-famous World Cup downhill Saslong, which lies at the foot of the mighty Sassolungo, is in Val Gardena; and, every year in December, the FIS Ski World Cup takes place. You can reach the skiing area by bus (hourly and free).
Starting from the Hatzeshof, you can also reach, in short time, the Alpe di Siusi which is the largest alpine pasture of Europe. The pasture offers numerous ski lifts and well-prepared slopes. The panorama is well-known and unique throughout Europe.
Christmas markets…
In the pre-Christmas period, the traditional and atmospheric Christmas markets in Val Gardena, Chiusa, Bressanone, Bolzano, Merano and Vipiteno invite to stroll through the cities and towns.
